Best Handguns for CCW

When it comes to buying and owning a handgun, many people are worried about the conceal-ability of the gun, and most of the time the final decision whether to buy it or not revolves around this specific reason.

This is especially true when deciding on a gun for your EDC gear. You never know when disaster will strike so being able to take your SHTF weapon with you anywhere (except where it isn’t legal, obviously) is imperative.

A handgun is not a random fashion accessory that you carry with you freely. The model of your pistol or revolver depends on what your purpose of owning it will be in the first place.

If you’re one of those people who shoots for fun and likes the performance of the gun rather than carrying it for your own protection, then you are not limited to the size of the gun or how concealable it is.

But, for the rest of people who are looking to buy a quality handgun for self-defense purposes and are not interested in being spotted that they’re carrying a gun, there are a few gun shopping options.

Now depending on your taste, you can pick between a revolver and a semi-automatic pistol.

Revolvers

If you want the classic revolver gun look and are interested in carrying it without having to worry much about it, then you can go for a Smith and Wesson five shot hammerless such as the 642CT model, which is a very reliable and lightweight gun. Ideal for people who never owned a gun before.

It’s aluminium framed, and it uses .38 S&W Special rounds. This revolver also includes a lasergrip for better accuracy when shooting. Plus, putting a laser right on someone’s chest can mean the difference between having to fire or not.
